Happy Heart Thursday

Hey friends, I know it has been a hot minute since I have posted about my happy Thursdays! Well, I'm back and have to get y'all caught up!

1. Today marks the end of my thirty day challenge. I can honestly say, I have never felt better. I will be sharing more on this next week, but lets just say healthy is my new middle name. 

 

2. To go along with my new healthy self, I decided I had to have healthy hair as well. I am cheap, so getting my hair cut is a total treat! 

 

 

3. Catching up from a little bit ago, we went to see The Killers in Orlando! It was an amazing show, complete with crazy lights, pyrotechnics, and confetti!! Totally worth the wait!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. We are cruising it up in TEN days! Yep, Kind of excited about this one. It will be Zane and I's first cruise experience. This is what brought on my thirty day challenge to begin with. I wanted to fit into my bathing suit, and loose some weight, before gaining it back! ahhhhh!

 

 

5. Zane and I are now empty nesters. Our house is always full. We either have guest visiting, or friends over to hang out. It feels so strange not having anyone living with us. It has been since the end of march that we have had non-stop visitors.

 

6. In preparation for our vacation, I have been in a shopping mood! It also helps that I found an old wallet in my closet with a few gift cards ;) One of those was to Victoria Secret. I don't typically shop here, since I'm too cheap, but luckily I stumbled into the right store on the right day. I got three tops and two bottoms for only $25.00 out of my pocket. I ended up saving over $100!! Yeah, I was pretty excited!!

 

 

Happy Heart Thursday

This week will be short and sweet. I spent the weekend in South Carolina celebrating the life of my uncle, and connecting with family. I have been pretty focused on excising and eating healthy, and have been such positive results. It takes a little bit of time to get into the swing of things, but it is so worth it! Here are some of the things that have made me happy this week. 

1. Enjoying the sweet scenery and family in South Carolina.

 As soon as I landed, I said "HILLS", it was good to be in the Carolina's!

 2. Went for a run with my family, not too fast, but that's pretty far for this gal! 

3. I received two of the sweetest gifts in the mail this week!

 Yankee attire, of course!

Loved this stump one of the sweet Elliott girls sent to me. She did that by hand!

Happy Heart Thursday

Welcome, friends! It's Thursday, so that means I get to share some of the things that made me smile this week! What were some of your favorite things from this week? 

1. We celebrated Zane's 28th birthday! 

They make me laugh!

2. We tried to soak up every last minute with our Frenchies before they left us! I loved seeing Zane hang out with them and make them laugh.. again, can't wait to see him become a daddy!

 Loved packing up their lunches each day! This was the last lunch I packed for them.

Had to put them on the bus to return to France. We were sad to see them go, but had so much fun for the past three weeks!

The girls gave Zane and I these roses. I love looking at them and thinking of our girls! 

 3. I am in "get fit" mode over here. It helps that we will be going on a cruise next month. Gotta get in shape!

The food does NOT make me smile, but being healthy does!

Meet Summerlin

 I met Zane while he was traveling with a separate worship band, and well, its just in our DNA. Summerlin is made up of a group of some of our talented musician friends. We take a week each summer to travel to Camp Padre, in South Padre Island, Texas! Zane grew up going to this camp, and its so fun returning with him and his family each year!  Preparing, traveling, and entering into worship with these youth kids is indescribable!   Getting to experience this week with Zane is something I look forward to. I love to hear his heart, his passions, and even better to witness him living those out! I will say this over and over. If you want to feel fulfilled as a wife, do everything you can to see your husbands dreams come true and support him in those dreams. I have never felt more fulfilled than I did during that week of serving and supporting Zane in the shadows. This week is always crazy- kids going nuts, yummy food, no sleep, and getting our tan on at the water park! Here are a few shots from this past summer at Camp Padre. Happy Heart Thursday

So, today did not go as I planned. I still had a great day, and a great week as well! Nothing too crazy, just hanging out with our sweet "frenchies" as we call our exchange girls! I know it's late, but better late than never to celebrate Thursday!  Today is especially sweet since I have nothing I absolutely need to get done. I haven't had that kinda down time in a LONG time! Number five is my favorite! Sweet Becket turned one and we got to celebrate him! Kristen did such an awesome job with his monster bash!!

5. Beckets birthday! 

I had planned on helping out more but between events just couldn't swing it. I did make the birthday banner, and helped set up. Again, Kristen was an awesome party planner!
